IMAGE LOCATIONKruger National Park, South Africa.

When there are so many predators out there, its not surprising that this Impala with her young spotted me (even when I was being as quiet as a mouse).

Impalas are a medium sized antelope and found throughout eastern and Southern Africa. The female will isolate herself from the herd when labour pain begins. A single calf is born, and is immediately concealed in cover for the first few weeks of its birth. The fawn then joins a nursery group within its mother's herd.
